Consulting
Fixed scope. Fixed price. Shipped.
Flad Logic helps small teams build software and ship it reliably. Your team can write code faster than ever; I make the release and the cloud keep up. Prices are starting points; I confirm the exact figure after a short call.

From
$2,500

Sound familiar?
Deploys feel fragile, the cloud bill keeps creeping up, and you want a second opinion.
I review your pipeline, cloud setup, security basics and spend, then hand you a written plan ranked by impact.

2–4 weeks
Sound familiar?
Your team writes code faster than ever, with or without AI, and releasing it is still the slow, manual part.
Automated CI/CD for one app or service, its infrastructure as code, and monitoring, set up and handed over to your team. More services are quoted.

Fixed price after a free scoping call
Sound familiar?
Your team still runs part of the business on spreadsheets, email and copy-paste.
Software that replaces a manual process: a workflow, an integration, an internal tool, or an AI step where it actually helps.
- Discovery with the people who do the work
- Design and build
- Integrations and SSO
- Training and handover
SOC 2 readiness
Gap assessment from
$4,000
2 weeks
Sound familiar?
A big prospect just sent a security questionnaire, and the deal is waiting on SOC 2.
Most of SOC 2 can be automated. I find the gaps between you and a clean audit, then quote a fixed price to close them, with your pipeline and compliance platform collecting the evidence instead of people.
- Gap assessment and plan
- Policies and controls
- Compliance platform setup (Vanta, Drata or similar)
- Auditor prep
Need ongoing help instead of a project? I also work by the week or month as a part-time platform engineer, directly or as a subcontractor. Ask about availability.
01 / Who I work with
Three kinds of teams.
Small software teams
Your team ships code faster than ever, with or without AI, and now the release, the cloud setup or a security questionnaire is the bottleneck. Start with a one-week audit.
See the deploy auditRegulated, workflow-heavy products
Most of my career has been software where approvals, permissions and audit trails have to hold up: multi-tenant, with every customer configuring its own rules. If your product has a compliance team watching it, in finance or anywhere else, that's familiar ground.

I've done client delivery since 2010. I can join a project under your brand, follow your process and tools, and take a fixed piece of scope or work by the week.

02 / Why Flad Logic
A senior engineer, start to finish.
One senior engineer
The person on the intro call is the person doing the work, from the first commit to the handover.
Small, fixed scopes
Start with a one-week audit instead of a six-month contract. You know the price before we start.
Built and run in production
15+ years, including a decade as a founding engineer building and running software banks depended on, from the first feature to the SOC 2 audit.
03 / Process
How an engagement runs
01
Intro call
A free 30 minutes to see if I can help.
02
Proposal
A short written scope with a fixed price and dates.
03
The work
Done in your accounts, with a check-in each week.
04
Handover
Docs and a walkthrough so your team runs it without me.
04 / Your side
What I need from you
- One person on your side who can answer questions and make decisions.
- Read access to your code, pipeline and cloud account.
- For SOC 2 work, a sponsor who can sign off on policies.
05 / FAQ
Questions
Why fixed prices?
You know the cost before we start, and I carry the risk if it takes longer. We agree on the scope in writing first.
Which clouds and tools do you work with?
Azure and AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions and Istio, with Snyk for dependency scanning. For observability I set up centralized logs, host and service monitoring, and alerting, using the tools you already have where they do the job.
Can you work alongside our engineers?
Yes. I work in your repo, your tools and your process, and your team owns everything when I leave.
Do you use AI coding tools on client work?
Yes, Claude Code and Cursor, within your rules. If your policy limits AI tools or what code they can see, I follow it. I review and test everything before it reaches you.
Do you subcontract for agencies and consultancies?
Yes. I can join a client project under your brand, follow your process and tools, and take a fixed piece of scope or work by the week.
How do you handle access to our systems?
You grant access through your own accounts, with only the permissions the work needs, and revoke it at handover. I don't keep credentials afterward.
